	The Art of Katy Kelly Noun

Katy Kelly Noun is a native of St. Paul MN, a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and she has studied painting at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She now lives in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis and has a studio there. Katy loves to sail on Lake Harriet and Lake Superior, garden and cook. Artistic support comes from her fabulous husband, two adorable children and Alis the Welsh Terrier, and many friends and neighbors. The painting style that you see is unique. Katy developed a technique which uses wax and rice paper—then she layers on watercolor, more wax, gouache and finally pastel. This technique has helped Katy win a number of fine art awards, greeting card designs and illustrations.
